About Us
It all started with the idea to provide the necessary life lessons to young people transitioning into adulthood. Must of us learned these lessons through trial and error, with heavy and painful consequences along the way. Adulting 101 Org aims to give them the lessons that we learned with pain. Adulting 101 Org Curriculums

Financial Teach & Talk
Students will walk away with an understanding of handling and approaching financial matters in their life. We start with analyzing financial concepts revolving around financing, credit, loans, and income/expenses. We then look at the associated life principles that are essential to understanding the gravity of the financial concept. By the end of this course, a student should be able to better understand intrinsic concepts and surrounding finances which will lead to overall better financial management.

Early Adulthood Financial Positioning
Students will walk away with an understanding of how to maintain good financial positioning in their early years of adulthood. We start with analyzing the different motivations for spending money and an in-depth look at credit cards. When then take this information and analyze our current spending habits. By the end of this course, a student should be able to better understand their own reasons for spending and how to not compromise their credit.

Boosting & Safe-Guarding Income
Students will walk away with an understanding of the different types of income and factors the effect income earning potential. We start with analyzing the different avenues that one can use to increase their streams of income and the different factors to consider to increase these streams. We then incorporate an activity to help the students make a plan to position themselves to increase their streams of income. By the end of this course, a student should be able to understand what they have to do in their lives to increase their own personal cash flow.

Adulting Me
Students will walk away with an understanding of general life concepts that one needs to navigate life. We start with analyzing our decision-making process and taking a brief look at relationships through the lens of mentorship. We then look at attitudes surrounding adversity, prioritizing, and change. By the end of this course, a student should be able to better understand intrinsic concepts and skills that they will need to develop to excel in adulthood.

Critical Car Concepts
Students will walk away with an understanding of the many responsibilities that come with car ownership. We start with analyzing the different financial perspectives to consider when purchasing a car, and the normal costs to consider with maintaining a car. We then teach specific knowledge that every car owner needs to know to be a responsible driver on the road. By the end of this course, a student should be able to properly assess the cost of owning a car and the responsibilities that come (places of consideration) with car ownership.

Healthy Habits
Students will walk away with an understanding of the importance of maintaining healthy habits and how it effects a person in their day-to-day lives. We start with analyzing the role and importance of a healthy diet and exercise in our lives. We then talk about other essential measures such as medical visits, the options for cost, and the power of sleep. By the end of this course, a student should be able to understand the relationship between a healthy lifestyle and day-to-day performance.

Strategic Stress Strategies
Students will walk away with an understanding of the importance of identifying and managing stress. We start with discussing what stress is and where it comes from while analyzing the consequences of it. We then discuss the different techniques that are available to healthily deal with our stressors. By the end of this course, a student should be able to understand the critical role that stress can play in our lives and how to endure and mitigate stressors.
